This body of work reimagines desert landscapes through memory and abstraction, where heat, shadow, and light collide in vivid contrasts. Through layers of oil paint and oil sticks, I weave movement, texture, and luminous color to capture atmosphere rather than exact form. Cactus silhouettes, ridges, and open horizons emerge only in suggestion—revealed through vibrance, distortion of light, and magnetic bursts of hue.

In these works, beauty is uncovered in the barren, radiance shines in the dry, and fleeting illusions shimmer like desert air.
